The Poetry Corner– Regina Puckett, MARSocial Author Business Enhancement Group Poet Laureate
Regina Puckett’s penchant to compose words and rhyme that touch the group’s heart make her the obvious leader of this section. Her abilities invigorate our own desires to create poem’s and song that warm the heart, or cuddle the soul.
You can expect many of our group to participate with Regina in celebrating poetry and it’s beauty. We also welcome our reader’s to join in festivities and submit their poetry. Feel free to discuss this Regina in the form field provided below:
Regina Puckett is an award nominated author for short story, Children’s literature, and Poetry collections.
“Memories”, a poem in her book of poetry, “Tilting at Windmills and Words” won first place in the 1st WSBR International Poetry Contest. Of course the book “Concealed in My Heart” was a runner-up in International MARSocial’s Author of the Year Competition for 2014.
“Borrowed Wings”, has received the Children’s Literary Classics Seal of Approval
“Slowly Drowning” in her poetry book,” My Words into the Beyond” won second place in the 3rd WSBR International Poetry Contest.
“Sir Galahad Comes to the Rescue” won third place in the 3rd WSBR International Poetry Contest. This poem may be found in her book of poetry, Ramblings and Dreams.
Her collection of poetry, Fireflies, won 2013 Turning Pages Poetry Book of the Year.

The Afternoon Blaze
The sky was aflame with towering clouds of fire
Its warnings appeared to be a poetic, sunlit pyre
Red and orange against billowing whites and grays
Creating the late afternoon’s most dazzling blaze
She has been writing for over forty-five years. She lives in Tennessee with her husband of over forty years. She has two grown daughters and four grandchildren.
She writes sweet romances, horror, inspirational, picture books and poetry. There are several projects in various stages of completion and there are always characters and stories waiting for their chance to finally get out of her head and onto paper.
